In 1972 the Allman Brothers Band was recovering from the losses of founding members Duane Allman and Berry Oakley. Determined to continue as a band, they headed to Capricorn Sound Studios to record along with Chuck Leavell on piano and Lamar Williams on bass. Brothers and Sisters released in 1973 and with the success of hits such as Ramblin Man and Jessica they sold 7 million copies becoming their most successful album.
